Hey Look! FOs complete with pictures

Just a quick post to show pictures. I seem to have developed a headache.

First off, Oilers won tonight. They stopped sucking which is really good, because last time I ordered a PPV game they lost, and I was sad.

But now on to the pictures because I really have nothing to say.

The purple blanket which is the reason my shoulders hurt the way they do:

I also finished the bag. I have to thank Jo for sending me this yarn, because I really don't think I would've tried it otherwise. I liked how quickly it worked up. But I think next time I would go out and buy bamboo needles because it was so horribly slippy. But I really like how it turned out.

I like how the stripy bits are differant on both sides, I just worked up a 3 stitch I-cord for the handle, attached it diagonally.

That's it for today. I'll be more exciting tomorrow.

the bag!
I really like how the bag turned out, and the handle, good tip about the bamboo needles, I actually have skein of this I bought at the same time in my stash and was going to have a go at this project at some point, so I may well follow your advice and get some! Jo

I really like both the blanket and the bag. The bag looks like it will hold it's shape pretty well when it's full of stuff, which is a good thing with a knitted bag!

(By the way...this is Staci from www.verypink.com ... I had to log in anonymously to leave a comment, because Live Journal doesn't really give me another good option. Not sure why.)
